Europe has already reached a verdict on the utility of BYD
People keep saying, "BYD offers great value for money!!" and continue to sell them by claiming, "Oh, they're so cheap."
In our country, people are talking nonsense, claiming we only import older models or that we only import "beta service" models from China to ensure we only bring in safe cars.
However, Europe, which started importing them several years before us, has already reached a conclusion regarding BYD.
While they are very cheap to purchase, they are by no means "cheap" cars!
The initial purchase price is low compared to its class, but because repair times are long and parts supply is not smooth,
rental costs during accidents are high and repair costs are expensive. Therefore, car insurance premiums are by no means cheap.
Furthermore, because the residual value is low, the lease payments are inevitably set high.
This is the assessment from European insurance companies: they are not cheap cars.
Even in our country, news is emerging about long repair times and expensive parts.
Eventually, people will start saying that the residual value of used cars is extremely low.
In short, while they may look like cheap cars at first, people will eventually say they were cars bought at the full price of other vehicles.
This is the evaluation from the insurance companies of countries that imported them before us.
