A long time ago, I had to spend Christmas abroad away from my family. The hotel I was staying at offered turkey dishes as a special menu item for room service, so I decided to order it. My colleagues and I were really looking forward to it, and we even set out several bottles of soju, which was quite rare abroad at the time. But the moment I took a bite, I was completely disappointed lol. I couldn't understand why Westerners eat this on their biggest holiday. The meat was so dry, and even though it was covered in spices, I couldn't figure out what the appeal was... I honestly think chicken is much better.
