I watched Batman Returns

First of all, this movie provides a clear justification for
why the villains and characters act the way they do.
However, the way it handles those reasons directly reflects
the dark aspects of real society.
It shows how environments and trauma create such individuals,
presenting realistic human archetypes that could actually
exist in our society. While there are many deep superhero
movies these days, the fact that this was achieved in 1992
makes it a work that was incredibly ahead of its time.
The visuals and directing style are also intense.
In particular, the character designs for Danny DeVito and
Michelle Pfeiffer are amazing. It's not just that they look
sophisticated; because their narratives and motivations
are woven into their appearances, every scene comes
alive with charm.
The ability to create multi-dimensional characters is truly outstanding.
The delivery of the dialogue is also excellent.
The lines spoken by Catwoman in the latter half of the film
pierce right through the character's complex emotions.
And I believe the anguish and dialogue shown by Batman
became the foundation and legacy for the many Batman
series that followed.
The ending was clean and left a lasting impression, making it perfect.
