I went to a senior welfare center
for my social worker practicum in 2023
and among the seniors there,
there were quite a few people born in the 1920s
The oldest person was born in 1926
and they were in great health
If they are still alive today, they would be exactly 100 years old
That was when I realized why they call it the "age of the 100-year life"
There are quite a lot of people who live much longer than you'd expect
