Reflections after 12 years of marriage.TXT
I feel like we actually fought a lot in the beginning when our first child was born.
Since we were both first-time parents and our parents weren't in a position to help,
my wife was struggling, and even though I thought I was helping a lot with the housework, we fought a lot because we were both exhausted and worn out.
For the past 12 years, most of our arguments have been about finances and parenting.
We still argue or bicker occasionally even now.
However, in our daily lives, we look out for each other more carefully than anyone else and live as each other's most important supporters.
From the time our first child was born until now, whenever I come home from work and the housework isn't done, I do the dishes, wash up, and then start the laundry or fold it before I even change my clothes.
I help because I know my wife devotes so much of her time to the children.
In return, my wife is understanding when I go out for drinks.
Since the children were born, weekends are physically demanding because we are almost always out, but the memories built with the kids are the greatest blessing in life.
It might be a bit ambitious, but my dream is to work for as long as possible, raise the kids without going into debt, and stay self-sufficient.
I had some spare time after work before the holidays, so I decided to write some random thoughts. haha
