I bought the Fold8 as an e-book machine

I've tried various e-book readers,
but neither color nor black-and-white models really suited my taste.
They're slow, underpowered, yet incredibly expensive.
To be honest, the whole "e-ink is easier on the eyes" thing feels like gaslighting.
I heard people say it's great after switching to the Fold8.
Viewing two pages of a comic book at once feels like overkill; it strains your eyes.
It's actually best to just hold it vertically and read one page at a time.
I mostly consume e-books using the text-to-speech (TTS) feature,
but as expected, the built-in speaker is disappointing.
So, I picked up a Bluetooth speaker;
I bought a JBL Go 5, and listening to TTS through it is actually quite decent.
It was great because it cost less than 50,000 KRW.
My main phone is a Fold7,
but this device makes me want to upgrade my main phone.
The aspect ratio is king.
It looks compact and cute, too.
