Someone asked me to tell a kidnapping story, so here it is.

I won't use specific years or facility names.
Disability advocacy groups are f***ing scary, so I'll keep this brief and won't go into too much detail.
It was 20 seconds [into my time there] and I was volunteering at a facility for the disabled.
There were three classes for the kids. I am male, and I was assigned to the class for kids up to 14 years old.
Social Worker A was my supervisor/teacher. They were pretty normal. They sometimes hit the kids, but it was just at a level of scolding them.
Social Worker B was big and would hit the kids, but it didn't feel like it was done with malicious intent.
Social Worker C—I think they were born in '83 or '84—was a f***ing murderous b*tch. They said they became a social worker because their own father was disabled and they did interviews with magazines about it, but they hit the kids like crazy, purely emotionally.
They were the teacher for the 6-9 year old class.
The General Manager was a total piece of sh*t and constantly hit the kids emotionally.
Incident 1. In the afternoon, while I was cleaning after putting the kids to sleep, I suddenly heard a scream from the second floor.
I ran up and saw steam coming out of the bathroom. C and a child named Su-jin (pseudonym, about 6 years old) were inside. The child was naked and her body was bright red.
As the child cried, C slapped the child's buttocks, and the blisters all peeled off.
I was shocked and rushed into the bathroom; the water on the floor was extremely hot.
Because C thought it was "dirty" that the child had pooped, they were washing her while wearing rubber gloves.
Since you can't feel the temperature while wearing rubber gloves, they burned the child with scalding hot water.
I rushed in, yelled "What are you doing?!", and kicked C.
I picked Su-jin up, ran to the kitchen, applied ice to a towel to soothe the burn, and called 119.
After 119 took the child, the General Manager called me over.
They said, "You did well, you did so well, now read this,"
and handed me an A4 sheet of paper. It looked like a statement.
It claimed that C took Su-jin into the bathroom,
and in the moment C left her alone for a second to grab a towel, Su-jin turned on the scalding hot water herself,
got burned, and as she fell in pain, her blisters peeled off.
It said a panicked C picked Su-jin up, applied ice, and instructed me to call 119.
They forced me to sign it.
I refused, saying, "No, why should I lie? I don't want to be complicit in a lie like this."
They kept pressuring me, then sighed and said, "Fine, don't do it."
But when the insurance company employees arrived, they told me not to say a word.
When I asked why, they said, "Aren't you going to get the insurance money? Who is going to pay for Su-jin's medical bills? Are you going to pay them?" I was flustered, so I just said okay for now.
They told me, "The facility is closed tomorrow, so rest tomorrow and see us the day after," so I said okay.
When I showed up the day after tomorrow, the ladies in the kitchen (the mothers of the residents who rotate to make lunch for the kids) asked, "Young man, why weren't you here yesterday? There were lots of your favorite side dishes yesterday." I asked, "Wasn't the facility closed yesterday? They told me to rest," and they said, "What are you talking about? No, it wasn't closed." So I asked, "Did people visit from the outside yesterday?" and they said people in suits came and took photos.
So, I realized they had actually told me to rest because the insurance people were coming.
I'm worried about whether I can reveal the insurance company's name later.
It was Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance. I heard from Su-jin's parents that they received the insurance money to cover medical bills and compensation, but it was less than 1 million won.
Su-jin's father was sobbing while hiding a recorder under his shirt.
He was speaking with his arms stretched out, and even though I knew, I told him everything. I didn't tell him I knew he was recording.
Suddenly, a flashy new playground facility appeared on the rooftop of the facility. When I asked what it was, the General Manager "kindly" told me they built it with the leftover insurance money. It was absolutely absurd.
Incident 2. Death of a public works worker.
There was a man working on public works. He walked with a limp and staggered, you know the type?
Anyway, he worked in the security office in the parking lot. When he came to eat lunch, he would limp and stagger toward the dining area.
The General Manager always ate with me. I used to find it annoying to always be with the kids in the cafeteria and my assigned class, but I had to do it because if I made the General Manager laugh occasionally,
they would give me the warehouse key. Inside, food was piled up so much it rivaled a convenience store. Once we got the key, my class would have a party. I'll talk about that later.
The General Manager said, "That man's way of walking is creepy and uncomfortable when eating,"
and told me to take a tray of food to the security office and tell him not to come in anymore, except for bathroom breaks. I thought that was wrong, so I said, "But it's cold outside. It's winter and there's no heater in the security office," and they replied, "Don't you want the warehouse key?" So I said okay and passed the message to the man. He said okay, but his expression wasn't good. After that, I started bringing him extra rice and side dishes to the security office.
One day, we had a swimming lesson, so we chartered a large bus to go to a city-run pool. That day, I asked the ladies to take care of the public works man's meal and went to the pool. On the way back, I found the man collapsed in the facility's parking lot.
I was shocked and ran over to check his condition, but he wasn't breathing.
I called the police. When I ran in and told them the man wasn't breathing,
only then did they say, "Sh*t."
The office is on the 1st floor and one side is floor-to-ceiling glass; they could have seen it, but they claimed they didn't.
The police questioned everyone one by one and took the body away.
I heard later that he died because he choked while eating.
In my opinion, this is almost equivalent to killing a person.
My hands hurt, so I'll write more later after I eat.
