Usually, heresy evolves into a cult

No translation in your language yet — showing the English version

Usually, when people talk about heresy, it involves issues with doctrinal interpretation or the procedural way of approaching God.
For example, in Christianity, it involves the interpretation or methodology of salvation,
the way worship is conducted,
and things like that.
As these groups drift significantly away from the control of the denomination, they start being called heretical.
Typically, even after being defined as heretical, if the number of followers continues to grow,
the pastor gets emboldened and starts acting like a god himself.
At that point, it's hard to even call it Christianity; you can consider it a cult.
Of course, there's no problem as long as they don't commit rape, assault, or murder.
But these types of people always end up committing rape.
