I had a collision that requires replacing the rear door

No translation in your language yet — showing the English version

‌A truck hit me from the rear left, causing damage to the rear fender and the rear door.
The car is currently at the shop, but looking at the photos, the mechanic says the door needs to be replaced.
I've been feeling a bit stiff since the accident (though it might just be my imagination?), but physically I seem okay.
However, I looked it up and heard that if you only file a property damage claim, there is no separate settlement amount?
Honestly, from my perspective, I have zero fault, I have to leave my car at the shop for two weeks, and now my car has an accident history—it's an incredibly frustrating situation, so hearing there's no compensation at all makes me furious lol;;;
But is it always like this??
It makes me think there's a reason people fake injuries.
At the time of the accident, the other party asked me to be considerate regarding the bodily injury claim, saying that since they are with a Freight Mutual Aid Association, the damages would be high, and that they would take care of me separately. So, I didn't demand a bodily injury claim at the time.
But now, it feels awkward to ask for a bodily injury claim, and it's also awkward to ask for money upfront.
I'm in a difficult spot ㅠ
