Shocking News: 4 SK Hynix New Recruits Fired for Drinking

It has belatedly come to light that new employees at SK Hynix, considered one of the top workplaces in Korea, were dismissed for violating alcohol consumption regulations during their training period.
According to industry sources today (the 19th), four employees who recently joined SK Hynix and were participating in training for technical/administrative roles were reportedly subject to disciplinary dismissal for violating training regulations.
It has been understood that they were subject to disciplinary action due to prohibited activities, such as drinking during the training period.
In addition to these individuals, two employees from other SK Group affiliates were reportedly given salary reductions.
It is reported that the company took lenient measures, such as providing the parties involved with opportunities to explain the circumstances and improve their conduct before making the final disciplinary decisions.
An SK Hynix official stated regarding this matter, "We cannot confirm personal information related to personnel matters."
