I find the concept of "famous" Sundae-guk restaurants the hardest to understand
When it comes to Sundae-guk (Korean blood sausage soup),
some people say it's better if it has a bit of a pork scent,
while others say it should be clean and odorless.
Some prefer it with lots of pork offal,
while others prefer more sundae than offal.
Since tastes truly vary from person to person,
it's the kind of food where people are satisfied as long as it's decent or meets the basics.
But looking at things like Sung Si-kyung's YouTube channel,
there seem to be over 10 "famous" Sundae-guk restaurants nationwide.
At that point, I wonder if they are actually "famous" restaurants
or if they are just performing slightly above average.
I even visited Hwamok Sundae-guk,
and while it was definitely delicious, I wonder if it's the kind of place
where you'd say, "Wow, this is insane!!!" compared to a local franchise Sundae-guk place.
