Out of Shincheonji's maximum of 300,000 members, fewer than approximately 60,000 have systematically joined the People Power Party.
According to the claims of Kim Min-seok and Park Sun-won,
while the cult leader is under custodial investigation and followers are being interrogated, they must have grown incredibly bold,
as they are once again launching organized "suicide attacks" against the Democratic Party, Bobae Dream, YouTube channels, and SNS.
One would think there are 20 million Shincheonji followers.
If so, are the 10 million Protestants just sitting idly by?
Like the MAGA movement in the US, the entry of Protestantism into politics is a long-standing goal, with Jun Kwang-hoon serving as an example.
A significant portion has already shifted to the People Power Party,
and the issue of far-right Protestantism is something that slipped in right after Kim Min-seok took the lead.
Their constant fixation on Shincheonji seems to be a "striking the east while attacking the west" tactic.
It is a well-known fact that Kim Min-seok and Park Sun-won are hardcore Protestant followers.
The investigation should not be limited to a "Shincheonji Special Counsel" but should be expanded to a "Special Counsel on Organized Religious Group Interference."
