We just need to solve the national team's many problems one by one
As you know, whether it was under Bento or Klinsmann,
or even now with Hong Myung-bo and Moreno,
we have almost never performed well with a 2-midfielder system.
A prime example was under Klinsmann,
where the Hwang In-beom and Park Yong-woo combination was a total failure.
Even during the last World Cup,
while the three-back system was an issue, the 2-midfielder problem was also present.
Ultimately, we must establish a 3-midfielder system first before positioning the players,
but doing so naturally means having to give up on a two-top striker formation.
We have also lost our competitiveness in the winger positions,
and since we cannot deploy Son Heung-min as a lone striker,
we can no longer fix him as a permanent starter.
I believe we must first create an environment where these tactical disadvantages are not highlighted
before evaluating and selecting players.
Under the current 2-midfielder system, even if we swap out every single player,
none of these problems will be resolved.
