If you had to choose one of these two, which would a soccer player pick?

‌1. Winning the Ballon d'Or, but never winning the Champions League or a major trophy with the national team throughout your career
2. Never winning the Ballon d'Or, but winning every single competition throughout your career... including national team titles (World Cup, Euros) and every club trophy including the Champions League
In both scenarios, the skill level is identical, but in option 2, the player never wins the Ballon d'Or because they lack the necessary career luck.
