Is it really not recommended to get a compact car in Korea??
There are exemptions on acquisition and registration taxes, various other benefits, and parking is incredibly convenient.
But I hear people look down on them on the road,
and they are extremely dangerous in an accident. Do the disadvantages definitely outweigh the advantages?
Setting aside the social aspect,
is the difference really that extreme—where a small car might only suffer minor injuries in an accident, but a compact car faces moderate-to-severe injuries or even death?
