I watched the movie "The Return," a different interpretation of the Odyssey

I watched "The Return," which interprets the latter part of the Odyssey—after the homecoming to Ithaca—through the lens of human emotions.
It's an interpretation where he agonizes over whether the destruction of the island after his twenty-year absence is his own fault.
I really liked how Telemachus reacted with fury, saying "no" in disappointment when the beggar-like Odysseus claimed to be his father.
The reasons behind Odysseus punishing the 108 suitors were also constructed quite convincingly.
There was a line in the movie:
"I went to war leading all the young and capable men, and I am the only one who returned; what would people say about that?"
