Why it's sometimes embarrassing to have no friends... because I'm afraid others will look at me strangely..

Sometimes, it feels
embarrassing not to have a single friend.
I'm afraid others might think I'm strange.
For example,
when people are having a conversation
and use stories about their friends as a topic,
since I don't have any friends, I have nothing to say.
Or during drinks or at social gatherings,
when people play games like
"Let's call our friends,"
"Does anyone have another friend to invite?"
or "Contacting your friends" games,
I don't have anyone, so I can't join in.
It feels truly embarrassing.
I can't help but think
how nice it would be to have many friends..
