The election law amendment proposed by Cho Kuk is already pending in the plenary session

No translation in your language yet — showing the English version

The amendment to delete the term 'act' from the Public Official Election Act regarding the prohibition of spreading false information, which Cho Kuk has been advocating for,
was already proposed by the Democratic Party in the spring of 2025 before the presidential election and has passed the Legislation and Judiciary Committee.
It is currently pending in the plenary session. It appears that it has not proceeded to a vote due to political reasons.
It seems they have left it untouched so far, likely because they fear that a self-dismissal of charges after the Cho Hee-dae remand decision might negatively impact the presidential election.
The "New Jaemyungists" want to fight the remand case once more in the second instance, but because they are so ignorant, they are only criticizing Cho Kuk.
