Why men eat even when the wrong menu item is served
There could be several reasons,
but this is a big one.
'It'll take time to bring the right dish... I just hate waiting... Let's just eat it...'
The fact that I can choose to "just eat it" means
that I have a broader palate than women and don't place heavy importance on the difference in taste for that specific menu item.
For example,
If I ordered Tonkatsu but Spicy Pork (Jeyuk) came out:
1. If I truly hated Spicy Pork, even as a man, I would have asked to have it replaced.
2. But usually, it goes like this:
3. Spicy Pork?? This is the wrong order..
5. If I say it's the wrong order, it'll take even longer to come out. I'm hungry and want to eat now. I hate waiting.
6. But, I wanted Tonkatsu, but Spicy Pork isn't bad for filling me up either... and the price is similar.
7. Let's just eat it... As soon as I eat it, oh... this Spicy Pork is actually okay..
Women might wonder why that's such a big deal,
but for men, even that short amount of waiting time is just something they want to avoid.
