Faker seems like a truly unique player

‌Looking at his career with 6 Worlds titles, he is definitely the GOAT,
but strangely enough, he plays so poorly.
He struggles in every tournament except for Worlds, and no matter how much I think about it, I can't figure out why.
I tried to tell myself that since Worlds is an international event, he's just the type of player who excels on the international stage, but seeing him struggle during MSI makes me think that's not it either.
I wondered if it was because of his age this year, but seeing him underperform during the Asian Games makes me think that's not it either.
He is a player who cannot be explained even when referencing all other sports.
