It looks like GTX-A is effectively a failure

Originally, the connection between Seoul Station and Suseo Station via non-stop passage through Samseong Station was scheduled for mid-this year, but there has been no news even now in October, and the schedule itself has been postponed indefinitely.
Since the non-stop passage is not feasible, the opening of Samseong Station, which was originally planned for 2028, is practically a lost cause.
It looks like there is a possibility that the line will permanently split into two: the Seoul Station - Unjeong Jungang Station route and the Suseo Station - Dongtan route.
Furthermore, as long as the opening is delayed, the Seoul Metropolitan Government must continue to pay the developer 300 million KRW per day for life; it seems like only the developer is winning, as they will effectively earn the salary of a major corporation executive just by sitting still for the rest of their lives.
