What was strange about Kim Jae-yeon of the Progressive Party in the Pyeongtaek by-election

No translation in your language yet — showing the English version

Although Kim Jae-yeon had already staked a claim in Pyeongtaek Eul,
the Democratic Party hadn't even finalized its nominations yet, but once Cho Kuk decided to run
and Kim Yong-nam was nominated (?) specifically to target Cho Kuk, Kim Jae-yeon of the Progressive Party criticized Cho Kuk.
Unless there is a strategic political reason, it would be more natural for the Progressive Party to criticize Kim Yong-nam, so it's quite strange.
Even lately, Lee Jae-myung's SNS friend, who is a former Progressive Party official and is said to be close to Jang Ma-cheol,
is still badmouthing Hwang Hee-doo while broadcasting with Jang Ma-cheol.
So many strange things have been happening since the Lee Jae-myung administration [era/context] that it's making my head spin.
It seems like if the Democratic Party takes the position of the People Power Party, the Progressive Party intends to fill the newly created vacuum.
I wondered why the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office was so strange, but there are so many weird and harsh things happening, maybe everyone has turned to the dark side?
