Imported EVs will likely sell better due to subsidies
No translation in your language yet — showing the English version
Currently, foreign cars have little to no subsidies, but
imported EV companies are running discount promotions almost equivalent to the subsidy amount—or they are popular enough that they don't even need to do that...
On the other hand, for domestic cars, if you are in a metropolitan satellite city, the total subsidies can exceed 10 million KRW; there is no reason to buy one without receiving that, it's just a matter of preference.
However, subsidies inevitably decrease every year and are exhausted quickly as popularity grows.
Naturally, people either delay buying domestic EVs or don't buy them at all. Otherwise, they end up harassing low-level civil servants to get them bought.
