We are living in an era where football players' egos have become too inflated

No translation in your language yet — showing the English version

If you look at it narrowly, you might only focus on who is to blame within the national football team.
But looking at the broader trend of the times,
we have reached an era where someone can take a slight nudge from a manager as an excuse to claim they were slapped or assaulted, effectively trying to take them down.
It is an era where it has reached its limit to simply demand that superiors provide more and take more responsibility.
These days, it is quite common in the news to see people intentionally avoiding management positions or roles with increasing responsibility in companies.
Because if you do anything even slightly wrong, you get labeled as a "kkondae" (an old-fashioned, condescending person) and your responsibilities only increase.
And if you aren't careful, you might end up being targeted and taken down like that.
(For the record, I am not a fan of Shin Tae-yong)
