I believe all foreigners married now will obtain Korean citizenship in about 10 years

Currently, for example, even if someone marries a Vietnamese wife and has children who grow up to be adults,
the wife remains a foreigner unless she passes the rigorous naturalization process.
However, I believe that once the children become adults and the Vietnamese wife has resided in Korea for over 10 years,
the direction will shift toward granting Korean citizenship through special naturalization.
This isn't about giving preferential treatment to foreigners; it's because this will become a massive social issue in about 10 years..
Currently, the number of international marriages is about 20,000 per year, accounting for roughly 10% of total marriages, and since most have at least one child,
the proportion of cases where at least one parent is a foreigner will be at least 10%, and in some rural areas, it could reach 20%.
Even if the children look a bit different, their mindset is that of "original" Koreans, born and educated in Korea.
But if their mother is still officially a foreigner... the probability of them getting into trouble or becoming alienated becomes very high.
This isn't a small minority; this demographic will make up over 10% of the entire youth population.
If you look at Europe, the real problem isn't the immigrants themselves, but the second generation—their children.
Even if we cannot provide benefits, I believe removing the "foreigner" label from the mother is the right direction for both demographic and social reasons.
