Getting a gift from a neighbor to eat and having a mental breakdown

This might be a harsh thing to say to the person who grew them, but;
How on earth am I supposed to use this when they give it to me by the whole box;
They say they picked them from their parents' or relatives' place, and I'm honestly thinking about just taking this and scattering it in a field in the countryside.
