Can we please stop "piecing together" career fragments when submitting resumes?

I understand people who have 1–2 years of actual experience combining their stints, but
when people piece together fragments like 3 months, 6 months, 7 months, and 11 months to say,
"Applying for the XX position with 6 years of experience and abundant know-how,"
it's honestly so exhausting to look at their resumes.
