It is almost impossible for LA Olympic baseball to qualify for the main tournament.

‌The LA Olympic baseball tournament will consist of 6 nations in the main round.
Three of the qualifying nations have already been confirmed.
The USA qualifies as the host country,
and the Dominican Republic and Venezuela have secured their spots based on their WBC performance.
Of the remaining 3 slots,
it is almost certain that Japan will take one as the top Asian team from the Premier12.
One slot is allocated to Europe/Oceania.
In the end, to secure the final remaining slot,
Korea must fight against and defeat powerhouses from Central/South America, Taiwan, and the Netherlands to finish 1st.
In other words, this means Korea won't make it to the LA Olympic baseball main tournament lol
If military exemptions for the Asian Games are abolished,
it will become impossible to get a military exemption through baseball...
