‌
With the mindset that this would be the last diet of my life,
I tried to get a prescription for Mounjaro,
but I was told it could be dangerous due to my history of gallstones.
So I gave up on Mounjaro
and had no choice but to start dieting through diet and exercise.
I've been eating about half of what I used to and abstaining from alcohol,
and fortunately, my family joined me in dieting,
which made it less difficult.
I lost 8kg in the first month,
4kg in the second month, and 3kg in the third month.
I started running,
something I hadn't done in 10 years,
from the second month, and it definitely helped with weight loss.
(Slow jogging for 1 hour)
Perhaps thanks to consistent strength training,
only body fat was lost, and surprisingly, my muscle mass increased by 0.5kg.
It's been so much fun
wearing clothes that had been neglected for over 10 years because they didn't fit.
I plan to lose exactly 10kg more by the end of the year and enter the "maintainer" phase.
After losing weight,
my blood sugar, blood pressure, and triglycerides all returned to normal levels.
However, recently, I had something similar to a cheat day—
I had 2 cans of beer, 1 bottle of soju, and some snacks at night before bed,
and the very next day,
my weight increased by 1.5kg, which was a reality check.
Losing weight is hard, but if I set my mind to getting back to where I was, I think one month would be enough.
The problem is how to overcome the yo-yo effect,
especially since I love alcohol and snacks so much ㅠㅠ
