A2O lite's agency isn't showing even the minimum amount of sincerity
When the controversy first broke, I thought that if people who used to like SM gathered together after seeing the rankings and listening to the music, it might be a natural reaction, so I even posted supportive comments. However, looking at the subsequent reports and data, I feel like they are taking things way too far.
Setting other things aside, seeing them hit 5th place immediately upon release in Turkey—a country that is usually quite harsh toward foreign artists—suggests they are a "national idol," yet there are no Turkish people in the comment sections of their music show #1 videos. With a population of 90 million, they should easily be able to dominate the top comments. I feel like they should at least be using translators to post some comments right now.
Even if you're going to manipulate things, you should show at least a minimum amount of sincerity so that people can at least enjoy being fooled. I don't know how much Lee Soo-man or the Chinese are looking down on Korea.
