Wow, the real estate market is getting serious...

‌
I checked the recent actual transaction prices for the first time in a while, and in the Seoul/Gyeonggi area, half of the transactions are hitting new record highs.
In the new towns within the Gyeonggi province, prices have risen by more than 50% compared to the beginning of this year, and jeonse (lump-sum deposits) have also increased by over 40%.
Properties that were 700–800 million won last year are now approaching nearly 1.5 billion won.
If this were a conservative administration, there would probably be impeachment protests and total chaos.
Even with loans being nearly impossible, at this rate, even if the base interest rate reaches close to 5%, it seems impossible for prices to adjust back to last year's levels.
People without money in the provinces will likely never be able to dream of moving into the metropolitan area in their lifetime,
and even people living in Seoul and Gyeonggi will likely be pushed out to the outskirts. T_T
