Is this being a difficult customer?? Two jajangmyeon, one tangsuyuk... and asking for a small plate for a child

Here is a story I heard.
A mother, father, and their five-year-old son went to a jajangmyeon restaurant.
They ordered two jajangmyeon and one tangsuyuk.
The employee taking the order asked how old the child was.
When they said five years old...
As they turned away, they heard them grumbling, "Isn't a five-year-old at the age where they only eat one bowl of jajangmyeon?"
When the food arrived, they asked for a small plate to feed the child,
but the employee refused, saying, "It's one menu item per person... you can't make three servings out of one small plate."
Hmm... Is this restaurant just obsessed with money??
Or is a whole family being difficult just for asking for a small plate??
