I think Lee Kang-in is doing a good job.

At Atletico, his ball retention and forward distribution are currently
the most meaningful and effective aspects of his play,
and I believe he is fulfilling the role assigned by Coach Simeone well.
Regarding the criticism about him slowing down the tempo and holding onto the ball,
I think that's a bit of an unfair critique; it seems to be because the opponent's pressure is that intense
and there are insufficient passing options near the midfield.
With Llorente playing a 5-4-1 role, he also needs to buy time for others to make runs.
Additionally, the coordination between the midfield and the attack isn't fully settled yet.
As the number of matches increases,
both he and the team
will likely find a way to counter the constant strategy
of aggressive pressing directed at
Lee Kang-in and Baena.
One fortunate thing is
that Griezmann seems to be gradually finding his form again,
and if players like Julian, Johnny Orthès, and Joselu
start performing well,
I believe the current difficulties will naturally resolve themselves.
It feels like people's standards are set too high based on Yamal, Pedri, and Rodri.
Lee Kang-in is a player whose value is only about 1/5 of theirs..
