I think I remember hearing that BoA and Kangta were directors at SM

I can understand for Kangta since he's older, but BoA is on the younger side.
Would someone like Heechul, who is such a social butterfly, have addressed BoA as "Director" or used formal titles while working at the company?
Or is the entertainment industry a bit different?
I've seen him call senior artists in their 60s and 70s "Noona" or "Hyung."
