Seeking advice from seniors who are raising children

I had a bit of an argument with my wife yesterday.
The reason is... my wife recently returned to work.
We are both working, but since I finish work a bit earlier, I handle all the drop-offs and pick-ups for our baby. ??
But when she comes home, she constantly shows how tired she is. Our child is 24 months old now and throws a lot of tantrums, but she keeps having this irritated expression on her face, so we ended up fighting.
I know both childcare and work are exhausting, but even after I come home from work, I try to help with housework, play with the baby, and try my best not to show how tired I am. However, my wife expresses her exhaustion through complaints and dissatisfaction, and I got angry because I'm worried it might affect the baby. ㅠ
Is it usually like this?? How do people typically resolve these situations? ㅠ
We didn't have many big fights before we had the baby... ㅠ
