Now I see why people use mirrorless cameras

I've been taking my old DSLR out of the closet to do some shooting lately.
In the past, I thought it was only natural to adjust my settings after seeing the results,
so I never felt any inconvenience.
But with modern mirrorless cameras, they capture exactly what you see, just like a smartphone... so I realized I don't even need to think while shooting lol.
I realized this today while out taking photos and switching between different metering modes lol.
I thought, "Ah, I bet it's only DSLR users who are struggling like this..."
Back when I was heavily into DSLRs, smartphone image quality was mediocre and mirrorless AF was slow,
so it was easy to overlook the downsides of a DSLR with its strengths.
But now, it feels like the DSLR has just become an inconvenient digital camera lol.
