Severing my final ties with an old friend

I have this guy who has been my best friend since elementary school.
About 10 years ago, he got married and started neglecting our friendship,
so I haven't been in touch with him for a while.
He used to work part-time at Techno Mart back in the day,
so I asked him to help me build a computer.
He struggled to carry it over to me and bragged about how he only used high-quality basic components.
I just said thank you and have been using it until now,
but I specifically remembered him saying the power supply was a good one,
so I tried to take it out to use separately,
and it turned out to be a total fake!
This is me cutting off the very last bit of affection I had for him lol
