Now that he has passed eighty

‌I didn't think this way when it was his 70th birthday,
but now that my father has passed eighty, the thought suddenly crosses my mind: will we be able to hold a 90th birthday celebration?
He seemed so young at seventy. There is such a stark difference between the photos from then and how he looks now.
It feels like such a waste of precious time, especially since we aren't even doing anything proper for him.
