Didn't Shim Soo-bong also debut through the College Song Festival?

‌Didn't she herself just go from being a college student to a singer without really experiencing the hardships of life? (To put it bluntly, if she was attending university while her peers were working in factories or as domestic helpers to earn money, can that really be considered a life of hardship?)
People are so different, yet so similar, haha.
