Romance dramas about Korean men and Japanese women keep coming out

My wife was watching something called "Diplomat" or "Merry Berry Love"? so I checked it out,
and Ji Chang-wook is in it.
Was it last year? I heard that the male actor who played the pitcher/prospect for the Dreams in "Stove League" also starred in a Japanese drama as a Korean man and became incredibly popular.
It seems there is quite a demand for Korean man/Japanese woman romance dramas.
I wonder if this makes Japanese women want to try meeting a Korean man once or something like that. It's a good thing, I guess lol
