October 26, 1909, is the day General An Jung-geun realized justice by assassinating Ito Hirobumi, the villainous leader of the invaders who trampled upon our ancestors' land and stained it with blood and tears.
This game is called Rise of the Ronin, and it is the one and only game in the world where you can take down a younger version of Ito Hirobumi. Unfortunately, you can't actually kill him due to the story, but just being able to slash at him with a sword like that feels incredibly cathartic.
Considering that at least 100,000 of our ancestors died due to massacres by Japan, forced conscription for their wars, and forced labor during the era of Japanese aggression, even if Ito Hirobumi were beheaded or dismembered, his filthy sins could never be washed away, and he is likely in the Avici Hell right now.
Unlike Korean game companies that constantly churn out the same old mass-produced online MMO RPGs, Pearl Abyss has developed a large-scale single-player open-world game called Crimson Desert. I really hope they make an anti-Japanese independence movement open-world action game as well.
