The 'Public Participation & Field-Accompaniment Police Reform Task Force,' which aims to innovate organizational culture and work systems based on opinions from the public and the field at the National Police Agency level, was launched on the 9th.
The Police Reform Task Force consists of 15 members, with the Head of the Autonomous Police Promotion Task Force (Senior Superintendent) concurrently serving as the chairperson.
It is composed of two teams: the Reform Planning Team and the System Improvement Team. During the regular personnel reshuffle in the second half of the year, one team leader at the Senior Superintendent level, three at the Superintendent level, and working-level staff will be recruited.
The Police Reform Task Force will promote a tentative program called '100 Days of Police Reform with the People,' where citizens directly participate in the reform process.
