Are young people today better at fighting than those in the past? .jpg

‌

I heard this somewhere,
but since UFC is popular now,
and "Yacha" is trending (though I personally don't think Yacha is that great...)
and TV programs like "I Am a Boxer" or "Iron Girls"
are also popular;
just looking at "Iron Girls,"
it shows female celebrities who aren't professional martial artists
taking on the challenge of boxing
and even winning gold medals in amateur boxing competitions;
just by watching "Iron Girls,"
the difference in skill between before they learned boxing and after a few months of training
was massive.
In reality, it's been over 10 years since the UFC became popular,
"Yacha" has been trending for the past few years,
and with shows like "Zombie Trip" featuring local legends or school bullies
challenging martial arts,
it seems like the number of young people learning martial arts has increased significantly.
If you were to have a sparring match under martial arts rules, or a "Yacha" style fight,
between young people from 20 years ago (around 2006) and young people today,
would today's youth have a higher win rate?
