Assassins. Did Kim Jong-il apologize to Park Geun-hye?

At the time in 2002, Unification Minister Chung So-hyun said
that Kim Jong-il never made such a statement, while
Assemblyman Park Jie-won claimed that what Kim Jong-il apologized for was the Kim Shin-jo incident, not the First Lady Yuk Young-soo incident... Is this also shrouded in mystery??
In the biography written by Park Geun-hye during her time as party leader, it is recorded that he apologized regarding the Yuk Young-soo incident.
In PD Notebook, they changed the subject, suggesting that such debates are not important and that national unity is what matters.
