What are the criteria for KakaoTalk's "Recommended Friends"?

In what cases do recommended friends appear?
If I manually add someone as a friend using their KakaoTalk ID or phone number and then view their profile picture, will I still appear in their recommended friends list? (I have "Allow Friend Recommendations" enabled in my settings)
