[North Port] Just watched Tazza 4
As a fan of Tazza, I watched the previous installments in theaters
While watching the movie, I found myself wondering, "Was Beelzebub's story like this?"
I think it's because there are quite a few differences between the original work and the movie
The key to Tazza is adapting the original work to fit the film
But with Beelzebub, the story is so tight that I felt it wouldn't have been easy to adapt
They cut out a lot, and for parts that were hard to save, they completely restructured them, so it's quite different
Byun Yo-han, Noh Jae-won, Cho Woo-jin, and Yoon Kyung-ho are all great actors
Perhaps because they acted closer to the manga-like original work in the movie
It felt like they didn't push the actors' performances to the limit, but rather settled for something moderate
It felt like there wasn't much acting direction and they just left it to the actors' capabilities
On the contrary, the two supporting actors I didn't expect much from, Swings and Linda Park, really stood out to me
The advantage is that the name "Tazza" is welcoming and many good actors appeared
The downside is that I wished the adaptation had been better so it could have been an entertaining film with no dull moments
I should go re-read the manga after a while. For Tazza, the first one is definitely the best, followed by the second
It seems like a series where the director's reputation really reflects in the outcome
