Hyundai making hydrogen cars is a complete waste of time

No translation in your language yet — showing the English version

First of all, the car price is insanely expensive.
Basically, platinum is used, making it extremely difficult to lower the unit cost.
Is hydrogen cheap? It's insanely expensive.
It's on par with or even more expensive than gasoline,
but they've used government subsidies to bring the price down to the level of LPG.
They give out tens of millions of won in subsidies when you buy the car,
and they give out subsidies when you refuel with hydrogen.
The deficit from pushing hydrogen cars is astronomical.
It's not even eco-friendly.
They extract hydrogen from natural gas,
and a massive amount of greenhouse gases is emitted during that process.
Transportation is highly inefficient,
and facility operating costs are high, so it's fundamentally difficult to lower the unit price of hydrogen.
As for future potential, that's not it either.
There are too many technical hurdles to overcome,
and it's uncertain if they can even be solved.
Hyundai needs to stop this nonsense immediately
and use the money meant for development to lower the car prices instead.
