At the 2005 Asian Youth Championship, Kim Kwang-hyun was more impressive than Ryu Hyun-jin

I had only heard their names before, but seeing high schoolers Ryu Hyun-jin and Kim Kwang-hyun pitch for the first time, Kim Kwang-hyun was more impressive at the time.
While you have to take Ryu Hyun-jin's surgery into account, I could tell that Kim Kwang-hyun's pitching was talent on the level of a league ace even in the pros.
Ryu Hyun-jin showcased his genius from his first professional year,
and Kim Kwang-hyun proved his talent starting from his second year.
Unlike the 90s, the level of the KBO has risen, so since the 2000s, you haven't seen high school graduates perform like that as starting pitchers immediately.
Ryu Hyun-jin and Kim Kwang-hyun were the last ones to show such performances as starting pitchers in their 1st and 2nd years out of high school.
