Is anyone using a hot/cold water purifier at home? I was thinking of buying a Samsung one...
Our family has never used a water purifier before, but we've been generating so many plastic bottles and finding it inconvenient, so we decided to get one.
Among the options, I thought we would need hot water in addition to cold and ambient water, so I was looking into direct-flow water purifiers that offer all three functions.
I've been looking into the Samsung Bespoke Water Purifier because the filter replacement cycle is longer than other products (once a year for self-replacement), and it seems convenient because the unit manages itself without needing separate professional maintenance.
At first, I was thinking about renting, but yesterday I saw a good price and decided to switch to purchasing it... However, looking at reviews on YouTube and blogs, I'm not sure if it's a problem with this specific product or just the nature of hot/cold water purifiers, but
there are many comments saying it has frequent minor breakdowns, expensive AS (after-sales service) costs, and high maintenance costs.
I'm planning to install it at my elderly parents' house, and I was worried that my good intentions might end up causing them stress, so I actually purchased it and then canceled it just a day later.
For those of you currently using one, are you satisfied?
I'm wondering if it's because it's this specific model or if the hot water function is just complicated, leading to frequent minor breakdowns. ㅠ
Should I just buy one that only provides cold and ambient water.. *sigh*
