I watched Odyssey (No Spoilers)
I heard that the master's film "Odyssey" was trending, so I went to see it..
The bottom line is, it wasn't fun.
Maybe it's because recent mass media or Netflix movies are so provocative and filled with CG, but during the 3 hours,
I can't recall a single particularly impressive scene..
They say "Odyssey" followed his philosophy of minimizing CG and instead used practical effects by building actual ships, giants, and the wooden horse..
But it was just a slightly adapted retelling of the Greek myth "Odyssey," laid out as-is, which made it very tedious.
The story of struggling through hell just to return home to his wife..
I also felt that Charlize Theron's role was too small compared to her usual character depth or star power..
I think it would have been better if they had added a bit more narrative through Nolan-esque imagination to the mythological Odyssey.
While films prioritize artistic value or quality, the audience needs to find it engaging first, right? haha
Of course, I heard there are many people who found it interesting.
Anyway, those were just my personal thoughts as someone who doesn't know much about movies.
